Unakite is a granite of green epidote and pink-red feldspar with clear quartz, and here it reads as a mottled olive to forest green ground shot through with angular patches and specks of brick red and reddish-orange, plus lighter green veins. The sphere is polished to a smooth gloss and sits on a small dark stand.
