A 12.2cm sodalite sphere, cut and polished to an exceptionally smooth, glossy ball. Deep indigo blue is broken up by lighter sky-blue patches, grey zones and earthy veins running from light brown through golden ochre and reddish-brown, with dark specks scattered through the matrix. At about the size of a hamster exercise ball it is a solid, satisfying weight to hold and a strong centrepiece on a shelf or desk.
